  • One of my favorite restaurants in Florence, hands down. Everything from the food and the service and the vibe and the decor just screamed tuscany, in the best way possible. Some of the best pastaI I have ever had.

  • We had an amazing dinner here and couldn’t recommend it enough!! A day before our dinner, we took a super fun pasta making class inside the restaurant with Veronica. At the end, we asked her where we could find some good Cacio et Pepe in the city (a dish served mostly in Rome and not on the menu), and she directed us to the incredibly talented chef Paulo. Paulo graciously volunteered to make it for us if we made a reservation for the following night. The texture and flavor of the pasta was simply great. It was the best dish we ate on our entire trip! During our dinner, Paulo surprised us with tastings of cheese, liquor, and a surprise dish all while chatting with us. Finally, we finished off with some delicious orange cake for dessert. It was soft, warm, and the perfect amount of sweetness. Just heavenly! By the end of the dinner, we were all satisfied, impressed, and touched at Paulos effort to make sure we had a great dinner- which we did! Overall- Incredible food, superb hospitality, and made to feel like we were a part of the family. If I’m ever in Florence again, I would come back here in a heartbeat. Everyone we encountered was super kind and welcoming. Paulo clearly has a gift and passion for cooking and for people. We now consider him a friend.

  • This is probably the best place in Florence that we visited. Family run for multiple generations in a several hundred year old wine cellar, the setting is cozy and the food is out of this world, while the family (Conrado) are the best! A must visit if you want the best, off the beaten path, non tourist spot for an amazing food experience!

  • Saved the best for last! This was not a regular reservation. We decided on the last day of our vacation in Florence to take a class to learn how to make pasta and tiramisu. It was a wonderful adventure to take this class! Our master chef, Antonio, showed full knowledge and above all knew how to teach us the basic techniques to make ravioli and tagliatelle and tiramisu. He knew how to create an atmosphere of family and camaraderie among all of us who participated, even though the group was so diverse-we came from different countries – Japan, Germany, the United States and Puerto Rico. At the end, all proud of our products enjoyed a family lunch where a great conversation was the center and where sharing our experiences was very nice. Highly recommended!

  • I, along with three others, did a food making class here with Chef Clive. It was an amazing experience and the food we made was great. Yes, you eat the food you make. Chef Clive was incredible and made the experience fun, lively, and unforgettable.

  • My wife and I were on our honeymoon. We snuck into the pasta making class last second. It was truly fantastic from start to finish. Our "Nonna", Narghess, was amazing. From the moment I awkwardly stumbled down into to the restaurant to ask if it was too early to come in to the last bite of dessert and goodbye. She commanded the room with wisdom and compassion. We learned some history of Florence, the building we were in and its relation to the Renaissance as we prepared tiramisou, ravioli, and fettuccine. An unforgettable experience. 100%. Narghess was incredibly kind and supportive as we muscled our way through the itinerary. Fun, informative, and (most of all) tasty. We would highly recommend this activity for anyone. The restaurant itself has great atmosphere, history, and even better chefs!! We're from Maine in the US, but we met couples from Australia, Canada, and the Netherlands in the same class and by the end of the night we all felt like family. Wish I was going back tomorrow night <3

  • The food here is amazing, easily the best dinner we had in Florence, not just due to the food but also due to the most friendly chef and staff. My friends and I initially came for a pasta cooking class, which was extremely fun. After asking the chef for something off menu, not only did he make us cacio e Pepe, but he made us a traditional squash soufflé (sformato). I am a foodie, and somewhat hard to impress, but this place must be on your list of restaurants in Florence to go to. Although the ambiance is intimate, the staff here made us feel like family.
